Traffic Control Person (TCP/Flagger) Training Information
Minimum number of students – 3, maximum 15. If more, additional class will be provided
Prerequisite: must be physically fit to perform traffic control person duties and responsibilities (requires long hours standing at the post)
Duration around 8 hours, includes classroom presentation and activities, and practical, in field traffic control exercise
Required PPE: high visibility safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, safety gloves, safety boots. If needed sun block and bugs repellent
It is recommended that students have at least 3 days to get familiar with the content of the participant book to streamline course delivery, and to increase the chance of passing the test.
