Corrective Action Training: Cell Phones

This Corrective Action Training module provides drivers with remedial training related to cell phones. Specifically, this course is designed to remind drivers to pull off the road to use cell phones and to never text while driving.

After completing this course, drivers will be able to:

• Discuss why cell phone use while driving is dangerous.
• Identify the consequences of cell phone use or texting while driving.
• Explain what to do if you need to use your phone.

• Hands-free technologies reduce performance.
• Texting increases your odds of a crash.
• Why? Because it’s so distracting.
• Phone use while driving is against the law.
• Stop in a safe location to use your phone.

Approximately 5 minutes

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.

Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
