Corrective Action Training: Driver Logs
This Corrective Action Training module provides drivers with remedial training related to driver logs. Specifically, this course is designed to remind drivers to complete an accurate log every day, avoid citations due to falsifications, and keep their log updated to their last duty status.
After completing this course, drivers will be able to:
- Identify when you are required to complete a log.
- Recognize when your last update needs to be made to a log.
- Explain the consequences of having an incomplete or incorrect log.
- Introduction
- Create a log each day using an ELD.
- Keep logs current, accurate, and complete.
- Keep logs current to last duty status change.
- Don’t count on time during inspection to update logs.
- Falsification is a serious offense.
- Even if you simply forget, you can be cited.
- Think again before leaving something blank.

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
