Corrective Action Training: HOS Documentation

This Corrective Action Training module provides drivers with remedial training related to Hours of Service (HOS) documentation. Specifically, this course is designed to remind drivers of log requirements, exemptions, and ELD compliance.

After completing this course, drivers will be able to:

• Identify what you need to have completed for an hours-of-service inspection.
• Explain what you need to know if you qualify for a logging exception.
• Recognize when an ELD is required.

• Upload your records from your ELD.
• Some drivers are exempt from using logs.
• Know the terms of any exceptions.
• Know why and when you need an ELD.
• Switch to an ELD if logging frequently

Approximately 5 minutes

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.

Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
