The goal of this lesson is to reduce the financial and personnel cost of injuries and lost workdays due to controllable factors such as illness, use of medication, and drug and alcohol use.

Upon successful completion of this course, you should have a better understanding of:

• How to recognize signs and symptoms of workplace behavior related to drug and alcohol use./li>
• Industry best practices on internal reporting of possible drug and alcohol use.

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
