Naloxone in the Workplace
Do you have the knowledge to administer Naloxone in the Workplace?
This self-paced eLearning course meets the Occupational Health and Safety Act’s requirements for at-risk workplaces. Learners will:
- Discuss deaths related to opioid-related toxicity in Ontario;
- Discuss what naloxone is, its purpose, and best practices for administration;
- Discuss Ontario’s legal framework; and
- Learn how to recognize an opioid overdose, administer naloxone, and recognize potential hazards related to the administration of naloxone.
