After completing this course, an understanding should be gained of the ways to prevent and react to violence in the workplace. Following the presentation of key information, learners watch a realistic scene in which a troubled male employee, who has alarmed his co-workers, is confronted by his female supervisor. She does some things right — and some things crucially wrong. The scene is explored, issue by issue, to drive home the message that awareness is critical and there are specific actions individuals can take to respond to violent behavior. This course is ideal for both supervisors and employees.
