This course provides an overview of fall protection procedures specific to the United States, and ensures that those working at heights can work safely and minimize the risks they face. This course is intended to provide awareness training and is not a substitute for hands-on or highly advanced training where appropriate (i.e. high angle rescue). TOPICS COVERED: Identifying and assessing fall hazards, Roles and responsibilities, Implementing appropriate control methods, Fall protection and when it’s required on the job, The components of fall protection, Selecting and maintaining fall protection equipment, Donning fall protection equipment correctly, Fall protection plans, Responding to incidents and determining ways to prevent them. To successfully complete this course, you’ll have to achieve 80% on the final assessment. The certificate is valid for three years.
